In magic , their are many things, but for the purpose of
this post I want to focus on four specific attributes of magic.
The spiritual nature of magic, in which one invokes the gods
and spirits.
The mental aspect of searching for the manifestation and its
lack of.
The physical means to encourage the appearence of the spell
on material.
The Phental arrangements by which can be achieved greater
things.
In that order, I shall explain them further, or at least my
understanding of each.
The spirits are the things unseen that can effect this
world, they exists elsewhere and often times can't be seen. However this is not
true, since the image of their forms as they are, are ingrained on the mind.
This furthers the proof of our connection with them. We know what Athena looks
like. Their are also several kinds of spirits in existence, each are unique
beings. A deva is not a roman god as they have different definitions. I title
the greater destinction, but similarity, a Lavor.
Anyways, it is often the case that some people invoke a god
and ask for help and often times, they don't do enough research into the divine
beings personality, since this matters. Zeus is not Thor and their behavior and
definitions are different. Albeit they both control lightning in some form.
Interestingly, it is possible to combine beings of this sort, but then one must
remember that this new being is not the same being. Thoreus, is not Zeus or
Thor.
However , this does not discredit the being or Lavor in
question. Except, this being is not necessarily the being you know, if it is a
combination, since it is a combination, it comprises both. Thoreus is a fusion
of Zeus and Thor.
One can also make there own divine being, although the more
truthful term is discover. In my example, my persomnia that is similar to Zeus
in some respects, is the light father. Symbolizing the electricity, technology,
future and light of the world.
Now that we have a basic understanding of divinity, we can
understand their effects on magic, in this case we shall use a simple spell as
an example. This should not be attempted unless properly understanding the
consequences
This is a spell of speeding time. For such a feat , we shall
need one thing. A sheet of paper and the light of an electric lamp or light.
Even the flashlight of your phone can work. To do this, draw an image of the
sun and a number ( necessary, as this controls the length of time sped up, this
certainly has a limit, an excess of it will lead to nullification. ) draw this upon the paper and illuminate it
with a ray of light, saying:
" Light of the father and time, let it pass quickly
until the moment of number. "
How does this work, put simply, the technology of the number
and the symbol of the sun, represent the passage of time and as such is a
request to the light father, to speed up time for your desired purposes.
However, this will not be a permanent effect as no person is permitted to have
such power. The light is the activation , because in this case it symbolizes
the light father on the face of the earth.
Through this we see that spirits can be accessed, through
the use of symbolism to attain our desires, through them, at their wishes and
discretion.
This concludes the first part on the spiritual side of
magic.
Now when working with magic, it is also useful to perform
mental tricks.
When performing a spell, thinking of feelings that go along
with the spell encourage it energetically, because it inherently converges with
the spiritual world or worlds. This is because mind is parshly in the spirit
world, since as discussed earlier you can see the lavors. So than while
performing your magic , think of visions that relate to the spell.
Further because the nature of magic can be done with mind
alone and without the divine, it also has effect. This is the atheistic
perspective of magic, in which one uses the coincidence to invoke spells.
Therefore knowing this we can modify it so that you seek out those coincidences.
Why does this work however, for the believer, beyond the
topic of atheism or divinity? Mental magic is the mind alone having effect on
reality and using this with divinity can help. As it doubles the power of the
spell. Mental magic functions through the minds equivalency to matter.
The thought of a lightning bolt and the will of it can
encourage the appearance of such things, since it places this feature within
the perceptual interface of reality. The will aspect enables the drawing of it
by positive energy. Positive in the sense not of bliss and good, but in self
affirmation.
Now then how does this apply to our magic spell of time,
essentially it aids the already present spell by adding more to the technique
when applied correctly and with greater use. In this case we will be using and
imaginary light and a feeling of time speeding up. In this way, time is
effected by the will and image in the mind. As well as gaining permission from
the Persomnia in the physical light and symbol on the page.
The combination of your mental energy and the divine being
enables a higher experience of the effect, since its mental effect changes the
perception by addition, with the added spiritual manipulation of time. One
could argue that the mental image is the divine being in your head, but this
can be interpreted either way in my view.
However unlike the divine ritual, the mental aspect can be
applied throughout the day, when thinking of the temporal passage of time, and
when considering its length, think of the light and time speeding up. Further
avoid thinking that time is not passing at a slow rate and continue to focus on
your daily life.
Therefore, in the mental aspect, we find that applying a
mental thought to your magic furthers the application and ability of the spell
and incantation. When used with or separately, as both introduced kinds of
magic are different yet can be used together.
This concludes the mental aspect.
Next we have the physical aspect, by which we improve our
chances of success with important details.
In taking into account that the physical world moves separately,
we find that spirit and mind only move the world in accordance with the detail
of the will. If we apply this, then we know that physical matter can also be
used to improve a spell.
How does this add to a spell? Well, logically in the fields of
science we find several physical tools and tricks that can aid in the
production of spells, by being physically present in the nature of their
capacity. Such as in the case of electricity, the power of a light switch to
illuminate a room.
The way in which this works, is obvious to most and should
not be explained here, however its connection to magic is quite simple. In that
it has power as well, and the uses of those powers can greaten the magic
significantly.
The reasoning in physical is due to an important feature of
magic, one that is often left unmentioned. By doing the things you can do with
the things you can’t, you improve its manifestation and appearance. If one
desires money, casts a spell, but spends all his money. He will not have a
functional spell, or at least his chances lower. This is because magic can come
from several directions, including a break in spending.
The reason this may appear strange to someone, is because it
works on a physical level. However magic has always appeared not as such, a
sort of luck that is also somehow controllable. In my view this is the reason
it fails, because it did not spend any of your energy, or you did not take part
in the event. Infact, if you did not bother to help make it possible, by
opening its occurrence, then it occurred outside your available variable.
In this we learn an important lesson, magic and science are
unanimous. Since in my definition of magic, it is a means to achieve something
one cannot do otherwise. Therefore Science fits this definition. Science flows
from the physical and mental just as much as magic does and in essence is an
extra part that has just as much power in a different way.
One could even argue that all magic not physical but the
same, taken place on different layers of the same structural system, from
divine to physical. As each is unique yet inherently an important part of
performing a ritual. This chunk of existence is the tool which we are accessing
in magic and has several layers if not infinite.
Finally we have a special kind of aspect, phental magic.
Phental magic is the practice of things both mind and matter
that can be used to manipulate reality. Examples of known Phental things are
the letters on this page or any page, time itself , the concept of a day,
astrology and tarot cards. In each case they use a physical part and a mental
aspect to produce an effect in both sides.
These things are probably more difficult, because they aren’t
as heard of. However they are interesting because they provide proof of mind
and matters connection and illusion. Their use can vary greatly and their appearance
is sometimes difficult to come up with. However they can aid in your magic
practice as well. Another example before I begin explaining its use in our
spell, is texting since that is an anti-transference of information that
contains none. This is because the nature of texts are words and words contain
no information as it is stored in the mind.
There are four phental aspects to this spell that can be
used. The first is making a list of things to do, without scheduling time.
Since this distracts your mind. The second is drinking a coffee or several to
boost stimulation and so alter your perceptions. The third is listening to
upbeat music and feeling it within you, since this adds an extra layer of
distraction and interface for temporal passage. Finally, while avoiding at all
costs a glance at the time, from time to time, guess the time, since this will
cause entrance into a quasi-time state.
Phental magic is an interesting phenomenon as it allows for
perceptual uses beyond the capacities of matter or mind. Their function in
magic and how they work is rather difficult to describe without understanding
the nature of mind and matter, which in essence means they are proof of the
physical existence of matter and the eternal soul.
To formulate a phental, one must unite the mental with the
physical and so create a new feature of reality or discover one that previously
existed. They are difficult to achieve compared to the simple spell because
they comprise of two aspects that fit together. As such they are like a puzzle
which must be fitted to the matched pieces.
In conclusion the use of these four principles in magic can
be useful for many things. Using them can help create effects on the world and
so perform mystic arts with potency.
