Inventing something new

In inventing things, we find many new things. Still many struggle with that because they don't know where to begin. In this small essay, I'll try to explain how to do this at a basic level, because why not.

Their are two kinds of new things, impossible things that cant exist and things that are possible. Now things that are impossible are not necessarily impossible, but perhaps too distant technologically to be done today, but they are not useless because of that. So it is important to write even impossible things down. Since they could be a great idea for the future of the world, making a plan and basic model of what would be necessary could help an inventor hundreds of years from now.

Things that are possible today are even more important , because they could be done today and would allow for an innovation in the world , thereby advancing human progress to a new level by the invention of a new thing, which is always a good idea. These things should also be written down to be built one day as they are always useful or at least interesting, humans are innovative creatures.

The problem anyone has when inventing something is that they can't think of something to begin with and don't know what to do, preferring to be sad in the lack of ideas they have and never trying, which is the first step to accomplishing anything, to try and see if it works.

Now, trying is good, but it is only one of the four keys to inventing, the second is inspiration, witch is to look at something and use it as inspiration for the new. The third is to take that inspiration and innovate it somehow by changing it and making it new. The final and fourth key, is to manipulate the object in your mind, treating the innovation as a sort of molding and malleable thing, further use the trick of unification. Because you can do that in your mind until it forms a new form which has not yet been seen before.

What follows is an example, made right now on the spot. Using of all things snow. The inspiration being that it solidifies when you put pressure on it. Therefore , I can see a powdered substance that does not melt, which can be solidified by pressure and comes in various colors , used to sculpt things in an interesting new medium.

Now, you invented something new, and wonder how to make it real, in the case of my invention , I am not sure if it is currently possible but I have written so that it could one day be, if you know how to make it , then by all means make it, but sometimes it not possible since it is not yet known how to build it, but keeping it in mind will help it come to be. Making more innovative things is always a good idea.

Finally , in making up new things , you gain innovative capabilities which can be useful in most scenarios. So practicing is a good idea anyways, making new things could be a hobby or it could be a way to your future. Since our modern world especially prides itself on that anyways. Have fun.
